The final painting for my Flower Fairy Series. Painted on a hot pressed A4 watercolour card. There is some damage to the card from the tape, I've included a picture of this so you can decide if it's acceptable to you.
All of my art work is sent in a thick black cardboard backed envelope to protect it in transit.
My tester painting for the Willow fairy. Painted on a Windsor and Newton watercolour postcard. Like all my work it's sent signed, wrapped with a wax seal and sent in a black card-backed envelope so that you know when it has arrived.
Every few weeks I try and illustrate a new fabric design for SpoonFlower, this was my latest. Personally, I'm quite scared of crabs - they look too much like armoured spiders to me - so when I found out there are some varieties of beach crabs which actually have a smile-like shape on their underside I just have to illustrate one.
This painting was done on a cold-pressed A5 paper and painted with a mixture of watercolour, guache and ink.
Like with all my work, I send it wrapped with black tissue, wax sealed and signed, and then sent in a distinctive black hard-backed envelope. You won't have to wonder if it's arrived, it will obviously be from me.
I don't do well with winters in general. I find them depressing and I'm always waiting eagerly for the first few signs of spring. This quick illustration was mainly a way for me to vent my frustration with winter and how much I wish I could curl up under a nest of blankets until summer had arrived.
Because this was very much unplanned this was done on some loose photograph paper I had on my desk, so the back is glossy. It's also not an even cut at all - one side being wider than the other - so please bare in mind that this will not fit any conventional frame. If you do want to frame it a double glass floating frame would be the best way to do it, I think.
Like with all my work I send it wrapped with black tissue, wax sealed and signed, and then sent in a distinctive black hard-backed envelope. You won't have to wonder if it's arrived, it will obviously be from me.
I like to be creative in a lot of different things. Music, art and writing are my primary obsessions (they always have been) but with necessity came gardening, and it turns out you can be very creative with that too! So here is my strange mixture of the four topics in once place. I hope you like it.
